Content, Technology and Skill

I used to think when I was in my twenties that technology was the solution to most of the world’s problems, but unfortunately it just ain’t so.

Let’s consider the writing craft. What you write is the content, i.e., the product, the result, the outcome.

Language is a technology and so is making paper and the pen with which you are writing. If you are on a typewriter that is also technology. If you are using a computer, the hardware and software are also technology.

Skill is the human ability you use in creating both the content and the technology.

You increase capacity and potential by developing human ability.
