Attending the ceremony were Professor Cyril Ponnamperuma and Professor Kapila Dahanayake from the IFS. The French Ambassador was also present.
On my left is the first Executive President of Sri Lanka, President J. R. Jayewardene. On my right is the first woman Prime Minister in the world Mrs. Sirimavo Bandaranaike.
While I was at Stevens, I made use of the opportunity to join a course of study titled Old Regime and the French Revolution.
